Debra Maffett Wilson is an Emmy-nominated broadcast veteran who has hosted, written, and produced thousands of hours of network, cable, and syndicated programming. Debra was catapulted into national television when she was crowned Miss America in 1983.  Upon relinquishing her crown she guest-starred in numerous NBC specials and pilots.  A stint co-hosting the “Pre-Rose Parade National Telecast” with Mary Hart led to a commitment co-hosting “PM Magazine”, a nightly news magazine show for Fox Television in Los Angeles.

Through the years Debra has teamed up with talent such as: David Frost, Andy Griffith, Bobby Vinton, Gary Collins, Pat Boone, Bob Hope, Dennis Weaver, and many others.

Debra’s creative abilities in television and music landed her in Nashville, where she enjoyed a high profile career in the country music arena.  One of the family-friendly programs she created was a country music show called “Hot Hip & Country”, which aired in national syndication for over three years.  Debra, in partnership with J.M.A. & Associates and Gaylord Entertainment, produced 52 original episodes each year.  While delivering “Hot Hip & Country” into national syndication, Debra simultaneously hosted “TNN Country News,” a national daily news magazine show.

Debra is currently co-hosting, “Making Healthy Choices”, and “ Harvest”, an inspirational hour-long daily television show that is simulcast around the world on the LeSea Broadcasting Network, Direct TV, radio, and the Internet.
